Choosing Natural Fabrics
At The Wildest Fig, we choose fabrics with intention. Our preference is always natural fibres - cotton, corduroy, linen, silk - selected for their breathability, comfort, and the way they soften and age beautifully over time, instead of synthetic materials that don't offer the same qualities.
We hold ourselves to full transparency: across our collection, only one piece moves away from 100% natural fibres. Our sweatshirt blends in 20% polyester, added for extra durability and warmth in colder weather. Every other product is made entirely from natural fibres.
Get to know the fabrics behind our essentials below: what they're made of, how they feel, and why we chose them.
100% Cotton
Our 190gsm 100% cotton brings a refined balance of comfort and structure to our Essential Tee. Soft and breathable with a steady mid-weight feel, it holds its shape through wear while staying gentle on the skin. Its smooth, clean finish makes it a reliable choice for everyday use.
100% Organic Bio Cotton Fibre
Our organic cotton fibre is GOTS-certified - grown and processed without synthetic pesticides or fertilisers, certified at every stage from fibre to finished yarn. Soft, breathable, and gentle against the skin, it's the foundation of our Crochet Collection: made to be touched, worn, and loved for years.
100% Corduroy Cotton
Our 100% Cotton Corduroy offers a soft, ribbed texture with durable, structured support. Comfortable on the skin and built to maintain shape.
100% Natural Linen Fibre
Our linen is a 100% linen fibre, produced under certified vegan production with no animal derived processing at any stage. Naturally breathable and softening with every wash, it's a steady match for our handmade, slow-crafted pieces.
100% Natural Silk Fibre
Our silk fibre has a soft, matte texture and a gentle drape. It brings a quiet touch of elegance to our crochet pieces, a small luxury for our skin and hair.
